Full Tilt PokerAlrighty, next up in the Full Tilt Poker review are their bonuses and promotions. All online poker rooms offer incentives to get players to sign up, deposit and play and Full Tilt is obviously no different.
Some poker rooms will offer obscene bonuses to tempt you inside the gates, but these are typically tied in with some hidden rules that make you have to play seven million hands before you can cash out your winnings. Full Tilt still has these rules, but they are fair and much the same as the other major players.
What really differentiates the better poker sites is the depth of their bonus offerings and how creative they are in making it fun to partake in them. Right off the bat, let’s cut to the chase and look at Full Tilt’s current promotions:

A 100% deposit bonus is what’s called a match bonus. For every dollar you deposit, they match it with their own money - much like pension contributions if you happen to work for a decent company. You receive the money by playing poker (obviously) - as you play a certain number of hands they add bonus money into your account. It’s not an instant bonus, but it does add up as you play.

Guaranteed tournaments are awesome. Regardless of how many players show up, there is a guaranteed prize pool. On a quiet night this can provide exceptional value (called an overlay) where there is more prize money on offer than there is total buy-ins from the players - making your odds of cashing greater. Big tournaments like this are very hard to win (based on the large number of players) but they do offer a life changing proposition if you do manage to pull it of. Someone has to win right?
