Tila, who owns poker room TilaPoker.com had her life invaded last night by a stalker who logged into her Twitter account announcing that she and her dog had been killed.
Tila Tequila is alive and well after a traumatic night on Twitter
An understandably terrified Tila Tequila appeared on the social network later on to quash the rumors and confirm that although traumatized by the ordeal, she was very much still alive.
At 2:39 a.m. Monday, the intruder sent out a Tweet that said, “Tila Tequila is dead,” followed by a second later on, in which the crazy person announced, “I just broke into her house, killer her and her dog. Logged onto Twitter to tell you guys. She was signed on already. Tila Tequila is dead.”
There are no reports of a physical break in, so it looks like it was an online attack.
A representative for Tila has reported that she is very grateful for the outpouring of support for her in her time of need.
Scary stuff indeed. Tila is about to move house due to the fear of a real stalker who has been threatening her safety.
People are really crazy these days
Yeah, it must be hard for someone putting themselves so “out there” in the public eye. People get obsessed quickly in our new media culture - because the have instant access to peoples internal thoughts and lives. The type of thing that breeds obsessives and stalkers unfortunately.
